Service Description

In keeping with the ancient traditions of Ayurveda, an abhyanga massage promotes calm and deep relaxation to the whole body. Using heated medicinal oils, increases blood flow and circulation of the blood and lymph, relaxing the central nervous system and providing greater harmony to the mind and body, as well as nourishment and lubrication to all the bodily tissues. The results are reduced tension and stiffness, pacification of pain and more movement and flexibility to the musculoskeletal system. If you're looking for deep tissue manipulation, this massage will not be suitable to your needs. Although (and depending on certain body types), an Ayurvedic therapist can use firm techniques, the combination of heated medicinal oils, varying techniques and a flowing sequence, helps deliver all the benefits a body requires, deep into the tissues on a cellular level. If you're in need of deep relaxation then this is the ultimate gift to yourself or a loved one. Tanjivan's abhyanga massage, is deeply intuitive and restorative, leaving you feeling rejuvenated with a sense of deep peace.
